I thouht I said Don Grolnicik. I have no idea what Billy Strayhorn composed so I'm sure I didn't say that. But glad you looked it up. K

Ha, sorry, I didn't mean to imply you were miss leading. I never heard the Grolnick version, but I've long been familiar with Strayhorn's, so when I played your clip I was scratching my head thinking that it didn't sound like the Lotus Blossom I knew. Anyway, if I had any discipline I would transcribe Hodges playing Strayhorn's version. Maybe this winter when I'm hunkered down here in the snow belt ...
