Very good Ben! retirement is everything I thought it would be!
I'm into 'chance' composition these days. Just a roll of the dice... It's much more than that without getting into detail, which it entails....(http://www.musiciansdice.com)
I maybe pick up my sax once every two weeks to blow the dust out,
but I'm playing guitar everyday. I really love the instrument!
Cornet especially is really getting there. I'm to the point where I'm trying to learn to read music on it and I've been practicing some standards. It's a mouthpiece thing, I think... I've been comfortable with it for a while (Wick 4 mpc). But also I've been in the mood to just pare down which horns I bring to gigs, so I've been leaving the trumpet and flugel at home.
hey thanks for the listen. Actually I don't know my way around the electronics, that was my bass player friend Alan doing some stuff while I was playing. Basically he was sampling some phrases and playing them back in various ways and I was reacting to that. Its all live, there were no overdubs, just various delay effects
