I use an ART Tube MP Studio V3 preamp, it gets me sound control and phantom power needed for my bell clip condenser mic. Am considering adding a harmonizer: I can get one that has phantom power, but not sure about losing the benefits of the preamp including volume control, which includes getting me the gain needed to get past all the on stage amps. Has anyone with a condenser mic connected a harmonizer/vocalizer, etc (any other effects pedals). to a preamp, and if so, how did you do it?

I just picked up a lightly used TC Quintessence Harmonizer, which was introduced last year, and it's awesome. I run an ATM-350 phantom power bell clip mic into a Samson S-mix pre-amp, then over to the Quintessence through 1/4", and out to my PA.

I'm guessing you could run a 1/4" out from your ART box into the Quintessence, then out to your PA. Though if you wanted an XLR out for the FOH, you'd probably need an additional DI box.
