I have a Pan Am 46M of this vintage engraved "Continental Colonial "
Serial number is 54572-- just a little older than yours, and... it's a good tenor.

My PanAm Geo M Bundy is 53534 and has the bar brace on the neck like this one.
Another Pan Am tenor I have is 52128 and lacks the extended low Bb touch

My Pan Am Conti-Colon tenor has a curved high E and sheet metal key guards on
the bow and bell.
