I recently found a tenor that’s a stencil I’m not familiar with. It’s clearly a new wonder 1 with straight tone holes and is engraved TMS Artist, Elkhart. Is anyone else familiar with this, or know anything about it?

Well, if you are certain it's a I and it has straight holes, its the earlier iteration of the I.

So many stencil names back then, the name doesn't mean too much really (other tha that it knocks market value down around $100-150 off of what a Conn engraved one would be)

Great horns !!!! If the price is right, go for it.....

So many stencil names, doesn't much matter what the stencil brand was (I myself have seen plenty of -----Artist stencil names, although not TMS).

If it's a good price, grab it. It's just an older I, if it has straight holes.
