I only recently acquired a Conn Chu Tenor. When I play it, the tone seems centered in my throat. I have never had any other horn rattle my soft tissue with such resonance that far back. Now I find myself completely involved in the tonal response of this horn.
Is this a common peculiarity with the Conn?

I have a Buffet and the tone is not felt so fervently in the back of my throat and never has a horn played in my head so far back.

Any one else sense this?
