hi all, for a 10m with serial on body of 352xxx and a 3 digit on the neck of 325 (facing forward on the rim where the neck goes into the body) - what does this neck id mean? is it the number of thousands that should match the body or maybe the factory made necks separately , stamped them, and tried to fit to the bodies later?

the finish ( or lack of) of laq matches body to neck - so I would say the 2 parts have been together from start.

cheers

thanks for the replies - and unfort the last 3 on the body dont match the neck.
so looks like its not the orig. still the lack of laquer colour matches neck to body so well.
guess it doesnt really matter as it plays good. was just curious on what the stamping was meaning and now i know.

cheers all.
