Hi All,

Any recommendations to notate various sax parts from my cd collection eg King Curtis' ' Soul Groove' or Femi Kuti ' Traitors of Africa'. I know of TwelveKeys, Seventh String, are these any good or are there other programmes out there.

Many thanks,

Bob Hewlett

Yes Seventh String (Transcribe) is very good, but you still need to use in conjunction with other programmes, specifically Ears (v 5.6) and iBrain (mac only) :)

There is software that will tell you the actual notes, even within chords, e.g. Melodyne.

I agree about Ears, but I must correct you about iBrain; it only works with PC :bluewink:  LOL! The mac version is iBrainfart.
