I've had my Comm II serviced and am happy with most of the work. The one thing that concerns me is that the left thumb rest and octave key were re-worked a bit. Given that the tech is much more experienced than I, I'm not sure if this is the way it was originally designed. Could you please have a look and let me know? It feels too pronounced to me. Thanks for any and all input.

The spacing from the rest to the lever should be even. It looks like he upper end of the rest is tilted right or the lever is bent a bit.

You're right on both counts, I believe - at least compared to how it was before. The upper part of the rest is tilted up and the lever is bent up from the bottom.
Should the rest be flat? Or just not bent at such a severe angle?
