Anyone know of or possibly play in any combos or big bands in the Dayton, Ohio area? I will be attending school at Wright State University in the fall to study saxophone performance and am searching for a group I can play with while in college. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Check out Jazz Central. They used to have a jam session on Sunday night when I lived there.
King Koeller is probably the guy on the forum to ask about the Dayton scene. He's at Wright-Patt I think.

I lived in Dayton from 1964 until 2002 and played in a big band from 1976 until I moved in 2002. I still sit in with the band on occasion when I am in Dayton for business reasons. I'll PM you with some more information.
