A friend is looking who is credited with the album artwork for Live At the Village Vanguard - it's the artist for the original LP they are trying to track down.

On the back of the album cover for the LP, it says these two things:

COVER DESIGN: ROBERT FLYNN/VICEROY
PHOTOGRAPH: PETE TURNER

The front of the LP album cover is dominated by a picture of Coltrane playing. The bottom of the photo is blurred, but appears to show Coltrane playing the soprano (the soprano and his hands appear to extend forward, out of the range of focus of the camera). The back of the LP album cover has no photo.
