College band......help! Please.

I'm in 8th grade and the director of the CMC college band asked me to join the college jazz band because they're Baritone sax player graduated. Any tips? Thanks,

Thats awesome. Play your butt off. And don't mess up(i.e. practice your part). They'll like you if you don't screw up. Ya know, basic stuff.
