why don't you try some mouthpieces instead of asking what the best metal mouthpiece is, or where you can get a clear mouthpiece.
if you want a mouthpiece try some, you might find you like a plain, boring black ebonite mouthpiece.
i thought that Dukoff made a crystal model aswell though....
I have an SR L85 that I really like. It is not completely clear, but a bit frosty looking. I just bought it because it played well.
I have one of the Dukoff tenor pieces that is completely clear. Put on a vinyl "Bari" brand reed and it looks like a ligature floating in space, fun for hours!
