Classical Book + CD Instructional Material

I'm getting back into the horn and enjoying some easy jazz training material. Like Niehaus jazz conception books and Mintzer easy jazz etudes. I think it's great to play along and try to match the playing style on the CD's.

Now I wonder if there are similar materials for easy classical etudes. Some years ago I bought some beginner band books aimed at children because they had CD's ... and was was totally disappointed to find that that the CD's just included MIDI renditions of the tunes.

If this kind of thing doesn't exist, it seems like a great opportunity for someone.

So ... does anybody know any examples of this kind of thing?

Music Minus One puts out book/Cds of classical literature. Also, Nobuya Sugawa put out a book with CD that looks pretty fun.
The Nobuya Sugawa book is exactly the kind of thing I mean ... but probably way too hard for now (and not for tenor, though that could be overcome). I was browsing Sheet Music Plus for MM1 and similar stuff. There's some things that look like they may be promising, but hard to tell what level and whether the CD's include the instrumental solos.
