Apologies if I have posted in the wrong sub-forum. I didn't know where else to stick this and I figure some of the pros might be able to answer my question.

I'm going to play reeds for the musical City of Angels, I've heard only vague things about the score, has anyone played it, is it a fun score?

The amateur theatre company I'm working for at the moment do great shows, I'm doing a season of 'Blues in the Night' at the moment. Arranged by Sy Johnson, it's a fun gig, then their next show is City of Angels, which I've heard good things about.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

I haven't played it before - but I've listened to the soundtrack enough to just about drive my wife nuts - sounds like a good time to me.

If you're lucky enough to be covering bari sax part in particular - it sounds like a real romp in the park!-
