Next year our marching band is playing the show La Nouba, and the band director was passing out music before the school year ended. The problem is, he only received 2 of the 4 songs, Distorted and A La Lune. I'm the saxophone section leader next year and I really want to have a head start on the music so I can help the incoming freshmen. I was wondering if anyone could email me the 1st Alto Saxophone parts for the songs Urban and Reve Rouge. It would be greatly appreciated!

My email is [email protected]

Thanks,
Kelso

To do this may be a violation of copyright laws.....

If your band director paid for the music/show....It's in violation.

You also don't say who the arranger or publisher of the show is.
How would anyone know which one to send you. They aren't all the same.

99.99% of the commercial marching shows for sale on the internet are exactly the same. There is only 1 version of the show. The arranger is Dawson.

www.jwpepper.com sells the music. Just have your band director give them a call and ask for the alto parts.

Regarding copyright, if your band director actually buys the two pieces you are presently seeking, I doubt that anyone's going to be carping about copyright violation, since the copyright holder would not be losing a sale in the long run.
