Chu alto octave mechanism

Has any one got tip or even a step bystep procedure for setting up the octave mech on a Chu Berry (New Wonder II) alto?

I've just completed a complete rebuild and this was pretty much the most difficult part. The horn plays great now but it also seems likely that it will go out of adjustment pretty quickly because of the number of close tolerences, interacting parts and opposing springs.
