A track here originally by the Phil Collins Big Band with the original featured soloist being Gerald Albright. https://soundcloud.com/alex-nyman-759436259%2Fchips-and-salsa-phil-collins backing track by Martin Funderburk.

Back to the Conn 6m for this one.

Thank you for listening if you have time. Alex
Alex, I listened it as a live performance. Sure the playback track creates the atmosphere of seeing the orchestra...
And then on stage comes the saxman soloist.

Great!

Nice grooving song choice alex! You're killing it on this one. This reminds me of some great Eric Marienthal - definitely dig the vibe throughout. You've really got the articulation and accents for this down pat! I've always wanted to be able to sound this good on a latin groove.

Very kind of you Jared thank you. It's a really nice backing track that must have taken Martin a lot of work. The original is of course great.
Gerald has such great control over the altissimo. Kind regards, Alex
