Aside from the annoying screaming, this video by Nathan Graybeal does a great job of breaking down Charlie Parker's articulation, especially his ghost/dood'n tonguing. Just posting is here for someone to disagree :bluewink: :

That is a very good breakdown. Do have a question on the topic - when reading transcriptions I will commonly see tenuto followed by a marcato - is this to emphasis the dood'n tonguing ,or should be taken separately?

Possibly. But usually a literally written dood'n is done with an "x" or parentheses for the ghosted note.
