That is a very good breakdown. Do have a question on the topic - when reading transcriptions I will commonly see tenuto followed by a marcato - is this to emphasis the dood'n tonguing ,or should be taken separately?

Possibly. But usually a literally written dood'n is usually done with an "x" or parentheses for the ghosted note.
Thanks mdavej, that makes more sense. I guess each transcriber probably does their own thing too.
