I've recently purchased a Charles Bay HR mouthpiece. Does anybody have some information on these particular mouthpieces? It measures out at a .100 and is a small chamber.
They are handmade and play-tested by Charles Bay and his son. They are very well made. Contemporary pieces are rather bright. Their ligatures are among the best to be found, but fragile.
Interesting. I have an older one I believe because it is not that bright. I think the small chamber is producing the brightness. It plays very evenly throughout the ranges, which is very nice. I haven't found to much info on them. Like whats the general consesus? Good or bad? thanks for the reply.
