I'm getting so much work done using Steve's Approach Note series which I purchased some time ago. Good for any horn... they can be such good ear training as well as technique training. I open a page, work at an exercise, memorize and go into all 12 keys, using my ears and mind...good for keeping brain exercises for a person of a certain age. :)
Along the way, just maybe I'll be able to use some in my improv.
Thanks, Steve!

Agreed, the Approach Tone books are excellent.
Especially for working on clarinet alternate fingering when crossing the break!
