Miles Davis is credited with saying "It's not the notes you play; it's the notes you don't play".

Lately I've been practising not playing any notes at all.

At first it was hard, but I'm getting better every day.

I can now go for hours on end without playing any notes at all and I have to say, I'm sounding pretty good.

My regimen is 7 notes the first day, 11 notes the second day, then cut it to 5 the rest of the week.
