Case humidifying for clarinet/flute double case

259 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  John Kotches
I’ve converted an older Selmer case (Prestolock model) to be a double clarinet / flute case.

Living in the semi-arid climate of Denver I’m considering putting in a humidity pack to protect the wood of my clarinet when it’s being carried around.

Is there any downside to this with the flute in the case? It’s a Pearl pf665, solid silver headjoint and plated body. I’m also thinking about putting anti tarnish strips in to minimize tarnish build up where possible.

This might be better in the cases forum ... so if an admin thinks that’s the case feel free to move it.

Thanks in advance for any feedback, it’s appreciated.
