I just got my new case in the mail from WWBW, and I was dismayed to discover that it doesn't fit my saxophone properly. The main body rattles around, and the neck is too long for its slot. Before I return the case and order a new one, I'm hoping someone with a similar horn can tell me what case works for them. I don't want to have to do this all over again with the next one!

My horn is a 1954 The Martin Tenor. The case I ordered, which I would not recommend to other owners of such horns, is a Gator Deluxe ABS hard case.

My other complaint about the case is that while there is just enough room for the sax, neck, mouthpiece, and some reeds, there's nowhere to put a neckstrap, cork grease, cleaning swabs, etc. Ideally I'd like to find a case that can hold all these accessories as well as comfortably cradling my sax. The neckstrap and swabs are a necessity, since I obviously use them every time I play.

I have a '56 Martin, so the same horn. I have it in a SKB pro case. The horn has a great fit, though the neck will still be to long for the neck slot. Just store it in the bell, in a sock to prevent scratches. I put mine in a Crown Royal bag, more of a looker than a tube sock

Sorry if I wasn't clear - By "Which model?" I meant "Which model Pro Tec case?" It sounds like you think I was being a smart aleck, but I was actually interested in checking out the Pro Tec (though I think there are a couple to choose from.)
