I'm considering getting a Cannonball Knight curved soprano, the seller is asking under $1000 for it. I don't know much about the older Cannonballs, since I'm a new CB player. What are some pros and cons to these?
I played one of these back when they were new. My impression was that it played great. However I am a much better player now and doubt my ability was good enough then to really make an assessment. I think the Global series is when CB really started making top quality horns and I think there is a post somewhere on the site with a CB rep saying that. At that price point I would probably watch for a Stone series. You will probably pay a little more for it. However if you get this one down a couple hundred it might be good.
Thanks, my soprano chops are awful. My only experience has been a cheap Palatino off Ebay that I got to fiddle around with. I know it'll definitely be a step-up from that piece of junk. Would this be a good one for someone with not much experience?
