That’s ingenious Pete, and I figured the bigger E & D key touch pieces that resemble small shallow dipping bowls served some type of floating and actuating function. Did Neil set anything up that is thumb activated that can’t be seen in your picture and video? Must be quite a learning curve to balance and play the entire horn with one hand from the lower stack.

wowzer....brilliant.

I remember a thread about some Conn horns which were modified for one handed players at the factory, after wwI and II....
