There has been some mention that the Pennsylvania saxophones were made for Selmer by the Leblanc Beaugnier factory which was on the same road as the Selmer factory near Paris France. Dating any of the Beaugnier made horns is challenging. What is the approximate serial number?

The pads don't look modern in that they originally would have had flat metal resonators which this one appears to have.

It is a pretty horn.

hi thanks for the information . Not sure where to find the serial number there is a number on the back of the saxophone " B4267 " .
Also on the front under the pennsylvania script is " Foreign Selmer London" . Would this make it an Selmer instrument for the UK market?

I say Orsi, c. late '60's.

I have been relatively impressed with old Orsis...they were built well, most have a beautiful tone, and their intonation is pretty good....
