Just in case any SoWer from Cambridge (UK) or anywhere near doesn't follow the local press, etc. The two main regular local jazz gigs: Andy Bowie Quartet on Sundays and Paul Stubbs Jam Session on Mondays are moving, as of now, from the Cricketers to the Alma pub 26 Russell Court, off Hills Road, not far from the station.

Every week start 8.30ish, entry free. Sample from previous Sundays

Ever thought about setting up a camera and doing both audio and video recording at your gigs?

Just to update this. We have now moved to the Clarendon Arms 35-6 Clarendon Street, Cambridge, every Sunday 8.30, entry free. Lovely pub, with great food until 9 on Sundays. Small, but very friendly. Recordings at

Sadly Paul's Jam Session has been unable to find a new venue. There is, I believe, a new jam on Tuesdays at the Tram Depot. Haven't had time to check it out.
