Hi All,

The other day I acquired this saxophone that is not quite any other I have seen and I am hoping some of y'all can help me identify it.
First of all it is missing the neck and I am hoping I can find one to fit it. This sax is 21" from the bell bow to the neck receiver. The keys don't look like any alto key setup I know of, there is only one bell key and the octave key setup is different (see pics). There are no markings on this except for the number 8 stamped near the neck screw (can be seen in oneof the pics).
The person I got this from thought it was a G melody but obviously it is too small for that and I think is too small for an alto but then it looks to big to be a curved soprano.
Does anyone have any ideas or info ?

We'd rather keep it sugar coated and not say anything too harsh!
I actually don't mind harsh, I am trying to learn and since I am no expert I haven't seen everything, maybe by accident I found something special, who knows ? even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while. I actually bought this for someone who just wanted a piece to hang on the wall.
