Continuing from the threat tenor madness, if you remeber, there was a discussion about flare diameters.

I would like to know first 4 serial numbers of your horn(s) and bell flare diameter in mm

I'll start with what I have in the shop now

Aristo Art deco - 2746XX bell flare 138mm with G# trill key
Aristo Art deco - 2884XX bell flare 145mm with G# trill key
Aristo Big B - 2948XX bell flare 141mm with G# trill key
Aristo Big B - 2956XX bell flare 140mm with G# trill key
Aristo Big B - 2977XX bell flare 148mm no g# trill

all of the above with the old true tone low pitch logo (tuning fork, bell and triangle)

Thanks!

Silver plate Aristo art deco 292,6xx with G# trill key: bell flare 140mm

Curious how they vary. One more question for you Juan. Have you seen any art deco engraved series ones (wire guards, etc) with a higher serial # than mine (higher than 292,6xx)?

Buescher Big B 2986XX - No G# trill 150mm (If by bell flare you mean the diameter of the bell at the end) Or did you mean something else? Little confused...

Yes! thanks. The stamp under the serial number is old style or new style? (TRUE TONE inside a triangle with a pitchfork and bell?)
El logo es el viejo, la palabra true tone dentro de un triángulo con un diapason y una campanilla?

274333: 142 mm or a tad more, no idea what a G# trill is, some flimsy underwear I suppose :-/
An "odd pearl" between F and E keys (rh stack)

No JL, was thinking about that. In fact I checked your post and went to see if I was right. The lowest Big B engraved horn I have seen is a 292702.

I've seen one USQMC engraved early big B with the infamous Eb trill too. This is not the case right? (the horn I saw was on eBay more than one year ago)

Yes!

Art deco tenor 2856xx with G# trill: approx. 138 mm
Smallest flare of them all!

Right. Guess I have one of the last of the art deco horns.

Is it new or old?

Thanx Enviroguy, an image says more than 1000 words.

Don´t want to brag here, but it seems like I have the biggest, 150mm! hehe
