Manny’s, Pontes and the other stores in NY always had a lot of Selmers. I used to go try some every once in a while and try horns. I remember trying some great horns but never found a Mark VI that played better than mine.
I remember trying some older Selmers when they used to be a lot cheaper than Mark VIs but most were pretty beat.
