I just got a box of Buescher Alto and a tenor mouthpiece. Really closed facings and I was wondering what the value of these things are. They appear to be unmolested.
Altos and tenors are about what Grumps said, if they're raw and the original stocks, (little round stamp that says Buescher, Elkhart, etc.) they're 40 to 60 bucks a pop. Sopranos tend to hold up a bit better, around 80 or so.... Might be interested in a tenor piece or a couple if you're interested in selling them. Let me know...=)
I guess I will put them with the Bueschers I am getting ready to sell. Since the alto has everything original, case, lyre, snaps, etc. It might be wise tto throw in a mouthpiece!
