Bright and edgy sound can be had with almost any high baffle mpc.

What about the 21,xxx True Tone? That would be a much older horn than the Big B.

Now I'm confused. Is that one a tenor or alto or what, and which horn are you asking about?--- the one in the title of this thread, or a Big B?

Why not start with a Rico Metalite?
It has all the baffle you need for bright and edgy, and it is unexpensive.

Right now i play on the true tone.
Dukoff D8 mtpc
Vandoren JAVA red 2 reeds

Im not pleased with the the sound. I am thinking it may be the true tone is a bad combination with the Dukoff. or maybe some different reed?

Anything should work on the Big B, unlike with the TT, which will want a large chamber piece to play in tune.
