I believe it is a student line horn. (Icould be wrong)
I would recomend a Conn New Wonder (Chu Berry).
Reason for recomending Conn they are easy to figure out if it is High pitch or Low pitch. And as well Regular or C-melody.

Carbs,
Please stop giving folks advice when you have absolutely no clue concerning the subject. You are creating a written record of bad advice which could cost folks money. People come here researching potential purchases and if there is a deadline for a deal to be made, often act upon initial advice. You are going to cost folks time, money and heartbreak if you continue to jump in on threads of which you have no grasp of the subject matter. I have stopped responding to your overuse of this board, but will not hesitate to complain to the moderators should you continue what is essentially harmful behavior. You've been told this before, I believe, but please... stay within your expertise; or lack of same.

Oshawya, it appears to be a "stencil" of a Buescher. I agree with Grumps about staying within our areas of expertise, so I won't try to define the term "stencil." You can search it out or someone else can explain what a stencil is. But I will say this:

If you want a Buescher, why don't you just look for Bueshers? Not stencils or Buffet or Everett, or whatever. The very best of the Buescher line, imo, were manufactured in the '30s, '40s, and early '50s. They include the Aristocrats of those years and the Top Hat & Cane 400. Also the late '20s True Tones, especially altos, are very good horns. All this with the caveat that any horn needs to be put in good playing condition (whether it's a MKVI, Conn, Buescher or anything else).

I am not interested in that one, just saw it and was curious. I am interested in a Buescher true tone that Bruce Bailey has advertised. Talking to him about it now. But, thanks for the input.

Yes, as others have contributed, it's a Buescher stencil C Melody sax. Not something one would generally be interested in these days. The bow guard and pattern of the serial number/Low Pitch engraving confirm Buescher as the source of this stencil (meaning it was made by Buescher, but bought by another company who put their name on it to sell).

Ok, I see. Nothing wrong with curiosity. I thought you were actively seeking out a Buescher. Looks like you found one. Hope it works out well for you!

I am actively seeking out a Buescher. But, I don't want something not worth the money. Thanks again.
