vintagesax.com has 1 and offered me $2800 for it, it has high F but I think its too dear. What do you think? I am looking for a vintage curved sop to add my collection and for play as well. Thanks

That 193xxx silverplate for $1250 with polishing and repad seems a much better deal.

I have to say that $2800 looks way over the top.

That price is definitely through the roof, especially for one of that vintage. I agree with Dr G.

Do the college kids still have to have these the way they used to?

I would pay $1600 at the MAXIMUM, but from vintagesax, you know that it has got to be good! Too high though, It is only a Soprano, and Rellly, I could afford a Yanagoosawa, or new Selmer.
