vintagesax.com has 1 and offered me $2800 for it, it has high F but I think its too dear. What do you think? I am looking for a vintage curved sop to add my collection and for play as well. Thanks

You could wait for one on Ebay, then overhaul it and save maybe a grand or more.

I picked up a 20's King Curvy that played out of the box on a gig the same night.

That price is definitely through the roof, especially for one of that vintage. I agree with Dr G.

I would pay $1600 at the MAXIMUM, but from vintagesax, you know that it has got to be good! Too high though, It is only a Soprano, and Rellly, I could afford a Yanagoosawa, or new Selmer.
