Anybody know the specs on the Berg(s) he played?

I have never played a Berg, or really Berg-like mouthpieces, but there are many players such at Tate whose tone I really like that turn out to have played them. Thinking of trying one out, or somebody's Berg-based mouthpiece.

Thanks for the replies. I figured it was one of the larger chambers.

I know Bergs are supposed to run <5 than the stated tip size, but you often see people are playing what seem like huge tips on them. Is there something about them that makes giant tips easier to play?

The higher baffle, medium chamber and smooth way the air runs into the chamber makes them often easier to play, besides that they measure about 0.005" smaller than marked. I have a 150/2 SMS that plays like my Florida no USA 10* Otto Link and a 140/0 SMS that plays like a 9 tip Otto Link. The smaller Berg tips also play easy, for me too easy.

Just an off the cuff comment but I find large tips fairly easy to play on any well-designed mpc. They do take a bit more air but that doesn't necessarily translate to 'difficult.'
