Hi
I have 2 level-aires, one which plays very well but has very bad grooves in the tooth-pad, and one that plays poorly but has a perfect tooth-pad. I would like to put the good tooth-pad on the good mouthpiece. Is this beyond the abilities of your average do-it-yourself guy? How would I remove the tooth pad without breaking it?

I just replaced a Level-Aire bite plate. Try naptha first... immerse the mpc and leave it for a good while... I cast my own epoxy bite plate in place and it works fine... Mojo who is a regular here quoted that he could make a replacement for $50 or so... After producing one myself, I find Mojo's price to be a very good deal... the process is tedious and time consuming...
