A guy I know has a Penzel Mueller clarinet. The strange thing is that the bell is stamped with the old Selmer Paris seal. However it is all wood. He wants to sell it to me for $150, but I think it needs to be repadded and recorked, as well as to have the keys adjusted, and it needs a new mouthpiece. (For some reason he has a plastic Bundy mouthpiece.) I'm wondering if he's asking a bit much considering the work needed. As far as I know it's fairly old- I'd say 20s, 30s. Any advice?
