Brecker biographies

Hi everyone -

I'm making a list of major saxophone research books for my bibliography class, including books on jazz research that I can find. I have found and included bios on Parker, Coltrane, Rollins and even Lester Young. However, the largest gap in the research I've come across so far is the lack of books on Michael Brecker. Are there books on him that I haven't found yet? Or is this a project somebody will need to take up in the future (especially now that he's no longer with us)? Thanks a lot, have a good one.

Dave

I don't believe there is anything specifically about him. Your best resources are going to be to look in variou jazz magazines or publications for interviews and articles. Downbeat, Saxophone Journal, Jazz Improv, and Windplayer are good places to start.
