The first one. Dream of Blue Turtles is my favorite although I love Nothing Like the Sun as well.
Cool to see you ask this, Bubba. I just added "Nothing Like the Sun" to my car this week. ...Branford is such a talent, and I have utmost respect for Sting. Highly recommended.
And they were great at Live Aid 1985: ... And boy, that was some very special fashion.
Yes I definitely recommend Branford and Sting! That first album is wonderful! Pretty hard to go wrong all the albums are great!
Great film. Also gets into Sting's thinking in putting the band together. One semi-comical scene that has always stuck in my mind is the (then) young band trying to negotiate salary with Sting's Manager, Miles Copleland. Expecting the pot to be divided equally, Miles reminds them that if they don't show up the audience will still come, but if Sting doesn't show up the audience won't be there.https://www.amazon.com/Sting-Bring-Miles-Copeland-III/dp/B0007VCZ50
Great doc about the first concert of that collaboration. Some burning saxophone and keyboard solos not recorded elsewhere.
