Hey all,

I have a Selmer Mark VI Tray Pack case that is, as far as I know, the original case that the horn came with. I recently decided that I was tired of lugging the case up and down to my 4th floor apartment, given that I don't actually have a flute or a clarinet, so I bought a new BAM case. I love it!

Now, though, I'm curious - the old case is in rough shape. The leather is pretty worn, a lot of the edging is coming off, and I've actually had a case cover for about 20 years since the case exterior looked rough. Does this case have any real value? The interior is pretty decent, and it is original. I'm just not hooked into the saxophone scene enough to know if it's worth anything.

Thanks in advance for any advice you might have!

Regards,
Scott

Scott,
Many players seek those cases out, does it have the "clips" for a French flute case along with the clarinet compartment and is yours the curved/molded grey vinyl with zipper or the squared off rectangular with zipper?
