Disclaimer: I have been involved in this project from the beginning, so I am quite biased. As a result, I'll just state that I believe this is perhaps the finest CNC'd mouthpiece to come to market. And the hand finishing is impeccable.

From the website:

"I've been very lucky in my life to enjoy some incredible classic mouthpieces and was constantly on the search for something that had tonal homogeny throughout all ranges, but that I could get plenty of volume out of. The S-Series tenor mouthpiece is a result of the fruits of that search and I'm proud to share a design that in my opinion encapsulates a remarkable amount of core, depth and evenness for a 'jazz' mouthpiece while still having the ability to cut. It's a reference to the great 'horseshoe' chamber pieces of the past, but made for the modern player.

Creating the BSS line of mouthpieces has also given me an opportunity to approach the boutique market with a fresh methodology. After a lot of research, we partnered with one of the most technically advanced CNC machine shops in the country, giving us the ability to dial in an unbelievable level of precision and absolute consistency piece to piece. No need to worry if you are going to get a 'good one' because they are all great.

I couldn't be much more excited to share with you my first mouthpiece offering which represents the pinnacle in many ways of my product design over the past years.

*each BSS mouthpiece is hand finished and play tested at the Boston Sax Shop"

So the options are either a classic .105 or a rockin and rolling .155?
:-D

Hopefully Jack sees that error soon.
But otherwise, I hope it does well! BSS is doing great and one of my students just bought a sax from them this week!!

Good catch! Jack will probably just fix the website, but I'm a fan of offering the second option as a 12* :)

Very glad to see you back at it Benjamin. Love and treasure the LA Sax piece you re-voiced for me several years ago. Excellent with your partnering with Jack, you both seek to provide the best quality in service and products.

Thanks for making this mouthpiece so successful. The first large batch of these mouthpieces sold out in a matter of minutes. These are only available at the Boston Sax Shop. The second batch will be available soon, and stay posted for the next model.
