It even doesn't look like a Borgani...
You need to check the serial... but may look one from the 60's.
It may be around 300/400€... in playing conditions.
Most of older italian horns from that era (Borgani, Meazzi, Orsi, R&C...) were quite odd to play. Maybe Grassi made some more manageable.
You'd need to have a horn in perfect condition to verify if at least they play in tune.

Does it have the "Delle Piane" system?

I thought it would be a slightly newer model, like 30 to 40 years old, not 60, but I don't really know borganis. It does not have the Delle Piane system, otherwise it would be visible in the photos.

I think this is probably a later one, I think it may be end of the '70 (with that neck brace), it may be contemporary to the Borgani MARK VIII that I once found somewhere

Nice though this is , the price is anybody's guess. It looks very nice and if in playing state and to the right person may fetch up to €1000 , but may equally remain unsold, there isn't a " market" for those horns, all sales are rather more episodes , but again one only needs one buyer. A dedicated collector of Italian horns may fell in love for this for reasons that others may not consider important.

By the way look at the price of a similar (but not as nice an example) fetched on Catawiki

Value, is very much in the eye of the buyer. Yours looks better

I agree it isn't a 60's one...it has RH bellkeys and their version of a modern-er pinky table.

70's probably.....

It would not fetch $1000 here in US...unless someone made the mistake (fairly common) of seeing "Borgani" and associating it with their pro, boutique $3000-4000 horns and impulsively decided they had 'stumbled upon a steal'.

I mean if I had this horn here, refurbed, and I honestly described it correctly...I could get maybe $800-ish for it.

Thank you for the answers. I asked the seller for a photo of the logo and for the serial number, and he sent me this photo, but says he doesn't know the serial. I explained where you usually find it, so maybe I can get that info also.

even knowing the serial number would probably not give a definitive answer as to the production year, but is it important? This horn was made before Borgani became the boutique producer that it is today.

Horns of that generation are harldly getting big bucks and one pays what one wants to pay.

It is nickel plated by the way
