Since a couple of my beginner students expressed an interest in learning modern pop songs on saxophone, I wondered if anyone had any experience using with any books that covered this kind of repertoire? Either for yourself or for your students.

I've linked to a few options I found below - anyone have any experience with any of these?

Some have playalongs, some don't - I'm kind of inclined to think that with these kind of songs it's better to play along with the original than a backing track anyway, although that obviously only works if they're written in the same key as the original (not sure if that's standard with these kinds of books).

The 101 songs ones seems like they could be a good shout, with that number of songs there's bound to be a good amount of overlap with my students' tastes.
