I've been working away on this for the past two weeks. A total of eighteen instrumental tracks, sixteen video overlays, and a LOT of editing time!

FREAKIN' AMAZING! I've been hearing a ton of these done my band director friends and the pitch is usually not good even by 'real' players. You nailed it. What program did you use to make the compilation line up the videos?

Thanks very much! I thought I might have to apply some pitch correction, but ended up not using any.

I did use a pitch SHIFTER on one track. Put on phones or listen on big speakers to hear that.

Audio was recorded using Reaper. I then filmed the video clips with live playback so I could sync audio and video in post. Corel Videostudio 2018 wa used to do the editing.

That explains the studio quality sound. Are you recording audio on the video portion as well?

I record that for sync purposes, but the prerecorded audio is what you hear.

Well I've been listening to weekly assignment videos from my middle school students. Trust me - my ears will never be the same.
