Hi, a few years ago there was a YouTube video of Bob Reynolds masterclass that he did in Texas if I remember correctly. The video quality was quite poor but he showed a really nice tone exercise which I use when I can't stand my saxophone sound (which happens quite often lately). Recently I searched for this video but can't find it anymore so thought about sharing this exercise with you. Hopefully you'll find it usefull for those "bad tone" days.

Here it is:

Is there anyone who remember this masterclass? Bob was wearing a cap.

Have a nice Sunday!!!

This is a great exercise! I use it quite often to work on tone, but with a bit of a variation. When I learned it it was called the hinge exercise, and after going down you would go up starting on the same note.
