Hi All,

I was at a Kurt Rosenwinkel concert recently and he performed a blues written by Paul Chambers, but didn't give the name. I've been searching for about an hour and can't seem to figure out what it is.

It's not any of these, which Chambers recorded several times:
"Nixon, Dixon, Yates Blues"
"Mopp Shoe Blues"
"I Heard That"
"Shades of Blue"

I remember it having a slightly more active melody, by which I mean not an AAB type blues with the third flatted in the second four bars, but also not a through composed bop melody either. If you find anything, it would be super helpful to me. Posting whatever you find is cool too because Paul Chambers is great and I don't know any of his tunes anyway.

If anyone posts the tune I heard, I'll let you all know what it was.

Thanks for the help,
Birdman

Mr.PC is a Blues dedicated to Paul Chambers, written by John Coltrane. Perhaps he said “written for“?
