Having been in the market for these for about a year in the past (and owning 3 at various points, all of which I moved along because I didn't think they were hundreds of dollars better than a regular jumbo java), I have some idea of what they usually go for. The tenor is not that valuable in the market because Warren Hill (the reason the Blues are so valuable) plays alto. The A35 is somewhat valuable and will fetch anywhere between $700-$900. When I sold mine about a year ago I got around $975 for it.Hi,
I know people are asking insane prices for vintage blue Jumbo Java A45 mouthpieces. I have three vintage blue Vandoren pieces. A blue Jumbo Java A35 in original box, Java (not Jumbo) A 95 and a Java (not Jumbo) T97. All in fantastic condition. How much do you think the value is for those?

No problem. You can try to sell the A35 here, but it will be very difficult for you to do so, and if you do, you'll probably have to settle for much less than what you would otherwise get for it. But it can happen. Good luck! Thanks a lot for detailed info jman1977! I have never sold anything on eBay... Maybe I put that Jumbo Java A35 for sale here on SOTW and try to sell the other ones locally.
I still prefer eBay (and more increasingly, Reverb) for selling high value items (just not for seeking good deals anymore). You still have the highest chances of maximizing your sales proceeds through those platforms. As long as you're careful enough, the chances of you getting stiffed as a seller can be reduced significantly to negligible levels. If you don't want the hassle of eBay (who does?), you could try a place like Saxquest or alike. You will have to pay commission, but no doubt still better than SOTW.

But since keuhkoman is inexperienced, maybe he does need the help of a dealer to sell the mouthpiece (unless he is in no rush to sell and is willing to do some research/groundwork first to known what to do and not to do on eBay).
eBay will almost always side with buyers in case there is a dispute (regardless of merit). Reverb appears to be more balanced in their approach.I am fully aware I could most likely maximize the profit using eBay, but still I really don't want to have the hazzle. In fact I seriously think to try Reverb...I have bought couple of thing through Reverb and my experiences has been good. Also Saxquest may be a good option. How do Reverb policies and rules differ from ebay? Or is there something in particular I should be aware of?
Horrible in any color...I sold an A55 Blue Jumbo Java for $1350 a few years ago.
You could play a kazoo and save money. One horrible mouthpiece.
One man's kazoo is another man's siren call. So many people rave about the MC Gregory Model A's. When I finally got my hands on one I was so excited to play it... felt and sounded dead as a door nail. But yeah, I didn't really care as much for the Blue Jumbo Java's I owned in the past, but I can see how some people would love them.I sold an A55 Blue Jumbo Java for $1350 a few years ago.
