Hi !

I know I play the same thing every time, over and over but I don't mind. I share this thing.
It is not a nine minutes blues, Jared gave me the idea to work on this blues, I was commenting in my head, he's coming along, what about me ?
Like a lot of people... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I woke up and I played.

Beautifully played lionel! I actually am just now getting a chance to do some listening as I've been working pretty hard as of late. I ran a comparison to your without backing and with backing tracks. I just wanted to say that I loved the takes on both.

Without Backing - I can see how the challenge of playing acapella, but you really did a phenomenal job - especially since your timing was excellent! Impressively excellent, you've got a great sense. Filling up the void when you're playing without the backing is tough work - I feel like everytime I'm using silence it is misused time without a backing. But you really built some amazing lines and kept it entertaining! Great job

With Backing - Beautifully played, and a great showing of your skills on this one. I loved your lines here and your tone blended so well. Very impressive, thanks for sharing!

Today I plan to do my final take of Blue monk as it marks 30 days since the original! I ran haven't had the chance to shed yet, but I really appreciate you mentioning my improvement. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks very much but I've got some problems, without a metronome sometimes I'm lost in the tempo, I do my own and it is not so good, on the other hand I can play for relatively long time like this, another problem comes when I play the wrong note, since I underline a lot the 7ths and the 3rds when I play the wrong note, it destroys all the structure, I sometimes add a beat, half a measure, whatever and it's not my goal.
When I play with a metronome on 2nd and 4th beats, it's much better but I can't play more than 2 or 3 minutes.
My goal would be to play for 5 or 6 minutes, I can do it on the guitar or on the bass but not on the saxophone.

Well, I share a collection of what I said because when I say something, I'm not ashamed to demonstrate it.

First some takes from 2009 (alto saxophone), 2011 (tenor saxophone), 2012 and 2013 (cornet)
