Here's one for my fellow Nintendo-nerds out there... particularly those of you who also have a soft spot for shreddy fusion. (The two seem to overlap a lot.) My good buddy Brandon Coleman, the pride of Cincinnati and one of the finest guitarists out there, arranged the music from the "Black Omen" stage in Chrono Trigger for us to shred over. He recruited Cinci's stellar bassist Matt Wiles for some crushing low end, as well. If you played anywhere near the amount of Chrono Trigger that we did in the late '90s, you might enjoy this.

Brandon's video chopping skills are also on point. So were the composers for '90s SquareSoft games, am I right?? Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross in particular have maybe the best damn game soundtracks ever. Not gonna lie, some of those games were a big influence on my own writing, as well as many of my contemporaries! (Louis Cole and Thundercat come to mind...)

This surprised the sh*t out of me. I'm from Cincinnati, but met Brandon when he was finishing his Master's and I was starting my undergrad. He's insane.
Really nice playing, especially the lines at the entrance of your solo.
